I’ve found the perfect cure for the post-holiday winter blues: wandering the stalls of an outdoor vintage market. There’s a quiet joy in strolling the aisles, admiring beautiful antiques and heirlooms, and imagining how they made their way here after so many years — even better when the setting is the rolling hills of Piemonte, Italy.
Spend a Sunday morning with me at the Mercatino dell’Antiquariato Nicese in charming Nizza Monferrato. We’ll take in all the vintage furniture, textiles, and curiosities, and dig through boxes of old glassware and ceramics, savoring the simple pleasure of the hunt.
For lunch, we’ll follow the lead of the locals and enjoy some farinata fresh from the oven (paired with local red wine, of course).
And if you’re an animal lover like me, stay until the end for a very sweet and unexpected surprise.
Almost forgot–a kind gentleman with an amazing stall gave me his card when I told him about my channel. He does furniture restoration and you can find him on Instagram and Facebook: Telorifaccioio
If you enjoyed this slow Sunday stroll, don’t forget to like, subscribe, and share — it really helps support the channel and lets me know you’d like to see more vintage market adventures.
