Fun fact: where mission: space is now used to be a ride named horizons, this ride was basically showing you a future that was not over are horizon and was possible. There’s a lot of Easter eggs to this right as well, for example, one Easter egg is when you’re riding the Mars mission and you’re launching to Mars you can see a space station in the back, that space station‘s name is brava Centauri and first showed up in horizons. (also at 3:46 this is supposed to be a little nod back to opening day land pavilion, see back then they were trying to find out how to make plants grow without soil because they were trying to push us into space, so they came up with this thing and now it sits in space 220!)
That’s cool. I love how these parks keep evolving but respect their own history. What next?!
