Is Tony’s Town Square STILL Disney World’s worst restaurant in 2026? 😳

Tony’s Town Square is one of Magic Kingdom’s original opening-day restaurants, first opening in 1971 and later re-themed to Lady and the Tramp in 1989. It’s an Italian, family-style table-service restaurant located right on Main Street, U.S.A. — and it’s also one of the most controversial dining spots at Walt Disney World.

With a 4.2-star rating on Google and a 3.6-star rating on Yelp, Tony’s Town Square has built a reputation as one of the worst-rated restaurants at Disney World. Some guests love it for the nostalgia and theming… while others absolutely hate it for the food quality, portions, and value.

Is this STILL Disney World’s worst restaurant in 2026?

We ordered some of Tony’s most popular menu items, including classic Italian favorites like spaghetti and meatballs and chicken parmesan, and gave an honest, unbiased review of the food, service, atmosphere, and overall value.

  1. I swear Travis you always look soooo excited. I don't think I want to play Poker with you. I always enjoy Promise and you in the videos! Thank you both!!

  2. We love Tony’s. The atmosphere is what we love. My daughters favorite is fettuccini Alfredo. Good memories there. 😊

  3. I don’t care what people say. I’ll always love Tony’s. Ate there earlier this month and the spaghetti was perfect. Maybe my taste in food is just not to the highest standard lol

  4. been years since I was there w an ex. don't remember it being too great but heard the garlic bread & mozzarella are good. so what is your worst restaurants?

  5. Ok so went went to Disney on one of the busiest days of the year as a matter of fact Disney shut the park as full no entry that day … if ever there was a day to make mistakes and have subpar food it was that day …. We ate at Tony’s … my mother and father are retired senior executives chef that are very hard to please … we had the best meal at Tony’s . Service was impeccable and fast despite busy horribly busy and the food was spot on . I’m tired of people expecting five star food and fast food prices when you know where you are going and what the cost is . Lower your expectations and get real . These places have to feed the masses and make it a spectacular experience or some people freak out . It’s a park with park food , consession food. Deal

  6. Hey Promise & Travis, awesome review of Tony’s Italian Restaurant, this is a restaurant on Disney property I have not dined at yet so this review has been super helpful in many ways to plan the most magical, memorable Disney trip yet. Thank you both so much!

  7. Love your video. Looks yummy to me! Just curious why they serve that meatball and pasta in such a small bowl!

  8. We’ve never been there but I really would like to try it on our next trip. Their garlic bread looks so good and I would love to be able to get a reservation on the patio as the parade comes by. Is there room for a party of five out there?

Both your meals look good! I don’t think it would ever be a true Italian meal there but for Disney, it looks pretty good to me and the view, also heavenly to me!

Everything is over priced now, everywhere!

    Great video 😊❤️

  9. some people just like to bitch…. as for the price of the beef, beef is expensive now so the 35.00 charge may not be outlandish…

  10. Great review🐝 just a suggestion. In addition you should include the Disney dining credits and discounts when u review the prices. A lot of families would appreciate that. 🎉⚡️💯

  11. I loved the video, and the insight about where to eat. I understand your point about price and, "Hey it is Disney" and agree to a to some extent, but this really is expensive for what you get. I have lived 30 miles from Manhattan on Long Island for a long time. You can go to quality, high-end restaurants for pasta dishes in NYC and LI for less. If this is your experience and you are served mass produced Disney Italian food at higher cost, it is reasonable to be disappointed. Now it is fair to say one should not walk into Tony's on Main St expecting genuine Italian food, but to the point, one shouldn't pay a premium to NYC prices either. Consider Carmines, not the top of the heap but very decent family style food in the heart of Broadway. Not a hidden gem in Little Italy but very respectable. It is vastly cheaper on a pp basis with much more food. Many entrees, which easily feed three, and many times 4 people, cost about $40. In Manhattan. People pay $60 for cold eggs and waffles and suck it up at Crystal Palace for their kids and the experience. Not a great choice IMO, but at least some logic. Tony's doesn’t have any perceived value add and the pricing should be lower. Sorry about the long reply but it is your fault, the content is excellent!🙂

  12. Wow the pricing is kinda wild but I haven’t eaten there in probably 7-8 years so might have to try it again.
