  1. Italian kitchen is full of short chain carbs, and it's far from healthy. It's about habits and culture around eating. Not so crazy as US consume more mentality

  2. If you actually think the food is the same in the US as it is another countries I’m just gonna assume you’re a fed or brainwashed

  3. I can tell you here and now that a normal italian pizza isn't 4000 calories so do with that what you want.

  4. European here. Food portion sizes in the US are insane compared to ours. it's crazy how much calorie dense stuff you guys eat over there

  5. They love to spend money on the giant military contractors but not on service members. They also love to cut taxes for the investment class while cutting food and medical care for children. Any “Christian” that supports the GOP is lying to themselves about their beliefs.

  6. Our food is probably worse, but only with regards to things like additives and purity standards that explain maybe 5% of the problem.

  7. what i think…..Italiens (in general) celebrate eating more than people in the US, or many other European countries for that matter. And while they stuff themselves good during that feast, they eat very little throughout the day.
You know you gonna have some very tasty homemade stuff later in the evening…..you are fine with just coffee thought the say cause you dont wanna ruin your appetite with nonsense.

  8. I lived in Italy for 6 months and I’m an American and the fact is that they don’t use cars and we do in America so you could probably eat more calories and not gain as much weight but it’s not like quantum physics inconsistent in italy lolol

  9. It’s so funny all these comments from people that have never been to Italy it all boils down to the fact that they don’t have cars for the most part

  10. Italian pasta is made with a achent grain. Not like our us grains that effect the body differently

  11. I'm not going to say this with 100% confidence but I will throw it out there for others to research on their own. I read somewhere that the type (subtype or modified version of) wheat that we grow and use in the U.S has been outlawed in most other countries. There is something about it that our bodies don't like. It has trouble processing. So there might be something to this. Now on the other side of this, calories are calories no matter what country you are in!!!!

  12. And yet in Italian supermarkets you don't see 400 pound morbidly obese people strolling around on an electric wheelchair buying more junk food to stuff their faces with.
