Today I’m trying three unknown restaurants in Colorado that don’t get a lot of attention, but might deserve more love. From an old-school Greek restaurant in Aurora to a low-key Mediterranean spot, and finishing with a local neighborhood pizza place in Parker, this video is all about finding great food without the hype.

I love finding hidden gem restaurants in Colorado — the places you drive past all the time but never stop at. These are the kinds of local restaurants that don’t go viral, but keep people coming back. No trends, no challenges, just honest food and real first impressions.

If you enjoy videos about underrated restaurants, local food in Denver and Aurora, and discovering unknown restaurants before they blow up, this one’s for you.

  1. Good choices 🙂 I've been to Athenian several times and it is always good, and have been thinking about Shondiz for some time. They all look good. P.S. I really appreciate that you go to mainly family-owned/local businesses. Thanks!

  2. Dude! Another fun and informative video! Been watching for a few months now and I’m so surprised with all the unique places you find. Try Cafe Jordano in Lakewood for some great Italian food.

  3. I recently subscribed and look forward to every episode! ❤❤❤ Thank you for your honest reviews. You give actual real life reactions and they’re legit!

  4. You should try this cuban joint in my hood, wheatridge/Lakewood, youngsfield, it's called el bohio, best cuban sandwich in town

  5. Gonna have to try that Athenian Restaurant because we love Greek food as well, especially Gyro's. One other plus is it's in the same plaza/strip mall as my favorite butcher Sam's Meats 😉If you want to try another good Greek restaurant we have been to Yianni's Gyros Place on the "better" side of Colfax (10450 W Colfax Ave, Lakewood, CO) If you want to add more Greek to your videos in the future then this place is pretty good and worth the visit 👍They don't have the "fancy" flaming type dishes but they do have a lot of great food variety/comfort food choices.

  6. Gonna make another comment: Golden Flame Hot Wings in Parker – hit them up for some great chicken wings

  7. We loved Athenian when we went. I had a great plate of pork souvlaki. I second the Helga’s suggestion. It’s one of our go to places when friends visit, or if we just really want pretzels.

  8. So glad you hit up Shondiz. It's one of my top Middle Eastern places overall. It competes with stuff in Glendale, CA. It's our go to when we're craving a delicious Middle Eastern dinner.

Anthony's is great! We try to stop by after riding at Bayou Gulch Bike Park. Wings are properly prepared. Love their hot buffalo

I live fairly close to Athenian, but have yet to visit. That saganaki looks amazing. I'll have to make some time to visit.

  9. How much diving into “Indian”, including Nepalese (Sherpa House in Golden has yak), northern and southern (dosa, baby), have you done?
