Christmas Eve on a camping — far from home, but filled with warmth and familiar flavors 🎄✨
As the sun sets over the campsite, the sky turns colorful, creating the perfect backdrop for our Christmas Eve preparations.
On our pitch, we prepare a traditional Polish Christmas Eve dinner outdoors. Carp gently sizzling on the pan 🐟, cabbage with mushrooms and mushroom soup warming up, and a classic Polish vegetable salad — simple dishes that instantly bring a sense of home. For dessert, we heat kompot z suszu, a dried fruit drink full of winter spices 🍎🍐. A glass of red wine in hand, quiet smiles, and cozy vibe of the evening around us.
After dinner, we move inside our campervan. Soft lights, handmade decorations, another glass of wine, and a few small Christmas gifts to end the night gently. No rush, no noise — just a peaceful Christmas Eve, celebrated in our own way.
