Worked at Wendy's as a teenager back in the 90's and the food was so fresh and so damn good! Fast forward to today in 2026. The food is way more expensive, the portions are smaller, the quality is nonexistant and it taste terrible, cheap and full of chemicals that leave a weird burning after taste in your mouth!… 🤢

I knew for years now, fast-foods are just a mega corporate selling the same products to everyone creating competition between each franchise, but put basically you eat the same product everywhere with a different branding. I used to love McDonald’s, but there’s no way I’m going to pay $15 for the same garbage I bought 10 years ago for $5. That’s more than twice the CPI growth
