We all have things to work on.
I am a fitness, wellness, and life coach and author. I am available to help others with their goals in lifestyle and mindset improvement.
Sometimes it helps to work with experts in their respective fields.
Pavarotti was known as a great singing teacher/coach. Could he have used a live-in wellness coach?
The song he sang with Celine Dion–I hate you, then I love you…–fits with a person who has an eating/food addiction.
Weight Loss, Health, and Pasta Addiction. Sifu Slim & Luciano Pavarotti
La Casa di Pavarottie Modena, Italia
00:35 Pavarotti was part-owner of the restaurant next to his home. Europa 92
1:00 The young Luciano (age 12-14) wanted to be a soccer (European football) player, more specifically, a goal keeper.
His father was a baker in Modena, Italy. Lots of carbs around the house and bakery…
BTW, Pavarottie died at age 71 of pancreatic cancer.
Can years of dietary problems and lots of wine cause pancreatic cancer? The sources you will find on the Net will say yes. Steve Jobs, a noted fruitatarian and lover of wine also died of pancreatic cancer.
3:00 During his youth, Pavarotti was known to “raid” his friend’s refrigerators and pantries.
In the fridge in his apartment in New York, there were trays of food under plastic wrap. Most of these held pasta dishes.
3:32 He was known to “love his tortellini.”
3:50 His friend, owner of the restaurant, said he would eat the leftovers of the kids who didn’t finish their meals.
4:00 We need to seek help and assistance for our negative behavioral patterns.
4:14 Dr. Mercola on carbs, exercise, and obesity. “The average American is consuming 50 percent of their diet as carbohydrates.
Inventor Thomas Edison said that ‘the doctor of the future will give no medicine but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, in diet and in the cause and prevention of disease.’
4:48 His girth became the subject of speculation.
4:53 He was so heavy, he could break the stage chairs in the Operas.
One report on the Net said he got up to 210 kg. which is 460 pounds.
Many may talk about his weight in relation to diet. How many have looked into his mostly sedentary lifestyle? In my book Sedentary Nation, I state that exercise drives health because exercise drives diet, sleep, and balance. Physical movement is historically natural. When this is avoided, most things in our health and life break down.
6:00 Painting “all night long” is another sign of bingeing. A binge lifestyle is different than occasional being inspired to work until late in the morning.
6:15 Pavarotti held the white handkerchief in his left hand to help him with nervousness. Interestingly, his father never took up singing as a career due to nervousness, aka stage fright. Per Luciano, his father Fernando was a wonderful operatic singer.
7:30 The scale. For so many people these days, there is too much emphasis on the scale and not enough on physical activity and balance.
8:30 When people become neurotic about weight, exercise becomes a penalty for being overweight and inactive, rather than a recreational joy and part of every day that it can be.
8:58 If you start with diet, you are probably going to fail. But if you start with the connection of mind-body-spirit, you work diet into it naturally, you may do well.
Start with movement, and the diet will follow along.
10:00 What’s so hard about doing one hour per day of mind-body-spirit connection with some movement? Try it for six months and see what happens.
10:55 I hope my books and messages help you with your walk thru life.
