I’m in Florence Italy diving into the Italian McDonald’s menu and ordering foods I’ve NEVER seen before. From the tiramisu and fried cheese, some of the menu is completely different — and honestly, some of it shocked me.

When I lived in Italy the only breakfast you could get at McDonald's was in the train station in Florence

I'm not a McDonald's kinda guy–as a Texan, give me Whataburger any day over Mickey D's. But it's always neat to see and hear just how different the menu is overseas at Mickey D's, for sure.

I like McD breakfast but the rest of the menu kinda sucks. Too bad they don’t sell a good burger in the US. Luckily there is a Culver’s near me, there burgers are great.

They have the McCrispy in Canada for the past 3 years or so. I find it super dry as well. Bad, even. The McChicken is still far superior. Id go as far as to say I dislike the McCrispy. It's bad.

Looks yummo&alternative coffee is super popular I still cannot adjust to the sweet breakfasts although many places sell sangas.I was grateful to get to Malta to have savoury breakfast The history of France influenced the sweet breakfast in Italy &thank Australia for McCafe although doesn't compare to Italy

I'm still amazed you can speak all these languages fluently. You can't just go to Italy, Sweden, Thailand, Portugal without being able to speak Italian, Swedish, Spanish etc fluently when your on a detailed food tour. You're amazing.

same here in Australia. the big macs are so small compared to 10 years ago and we get charge so much for Mc donalds rubbish.
Generally speaking, US has VERY lax regulations regarding food quality and safety compared to the EU and Asian countries which is why you run into such a disparity in quality and taste in regards to franchises like McDonald's, since they cut every corner they can to save as much money as possible.
It's a shame but it's the price to pay for unbridled capitalism, the average Joe Schmoe are the one losing out hard in the end.
good quality food is an expected component of European lifestyle. In America it's more about quantity than quality so ingredients are cheap and flavorless, and in their place is piled on fats and sugars. Beef in America is factory farmed and flavorless. Europeans still support small farms that raise stock traditionally, and you can taste it immediately.
Imagine coming from the homeland of McD and praising taste and quality to be on another level for 14 minutes 😄

Looking at that burger and comparing it to what we in the U.S. get, I prefer the one in Italy. Sad how we get crap. Why are they feeding us that? We get crap plus extremely high prices.
Hence the reason the food is better in any other western country, they have laws against growth hormones!
McDonald's hamburger is not supposed to taste like real beef. If we wanted that then we wouldn't go to McDonalds. I like the no beef taste because it gives it a unique flavor that you can't get anywhere else in the world. If I want real, then I go somewhere else. That's just how I see it.
