Can you drive 3000km in an electric car without planning a single charging stop? I’m trying to do that in this 6-part series, where we drive on summer vacation in our Renault Megane E-tech Electric, and let the car decide both the route and the charging stops.
In this episode we drive from Hørsholm in North Zealand to Celle in Germany and are about to end up at a closed Tesla SuperCharger.

I am new to electric world so videos like these are very useful. A question: at Ionity chargers, do you have to use the app, or is it possible to charge a car just using buttons/screen on the charger itself? Do electric chargers usually require using apps?
Great video, as always. You have convinced me to get an Renault 4, based largely on your testing of the Google Automotive and ADAS system in the R5. Between 6-6:30 you said you drove slower than the 'allowed speed' to increase the battery percentage on arrival at the next charger. What is the 'allowed speed' and can you change it?
Celle looks amazing !
