This Italian Street Food Stopped Me Mid Walk at Catalina Bay, Auckland
Today we came to Catalina Bay Market just to look around. No plans, no hunger, just vibes. Then a simple bite of bread changed everything.
I stumbled across Frittelli A Taste of Italy, and one sample was all it took. Chewy, warm, deep-fried, lightly salted, pure comfort. We came back for the savoury version with basil pesto, mascarpone, fresh basil, and chives.
Fourteen dollars, small plate, but the flavour delivered. Crispy outside, soft inside, rich and indulgent. By the end it does get a little heavy, but absolutely worth trying at least once.
They are at Catalina Bay Market on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Christmas hours may change so check their socials before heading down.
