  1. Those look so good 😋 Thank you, Frannie Jo, for sharing. You brighten the world just being yourself ❤❤ Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄

  2. I agree that the fanciest stuff isn't needed for plenty of Christmas joy. Neighbor's daughters made us a platter of goodies including haystack treats made with chow mein noodles, the butterscotch and the chocolate covered. Delicious!! 5 stars 🌟 🤩

  3. I personally love tamales with a side of rice and a side of beans for Christmas dinner than prime rib. These meatballs are so appropriate for Christmas, they look beautiful like Christmas tree baubles and they are mouthwatering. It's a little too late for this Christmas, but hopefully for New Years.

    Enjoy and God Bless!

  4. Thanks for the recipe looks delicious your a great cook I'm new on your channel I have been Enjoying watching Merry Christmas and God bless you and your family ❤ Shelby

Merry, merry Christmas and God bless you all! ❤ Jesus loves you…

  6. 🎄🙏 merry Christmas to you, Fran ❤ the only thing I Italians do different. We sell bread in milk and then we put it in the meat mixture. I don’t know what it does, but it’s magic. And we boil our meatballs with the sauce. We don’t fry them first either than that very authentic.👍

  7. I just got a flash of genius…you can serve these meatballs/sausages with mashed potatoes and a garden salad or green beans and garlic breadsticks…oh, I gotta make this…thank you so much!

  8. What makes these "authentic"? When I stayed in Italy they have a meatball called polpitone but they were never eaten the way Americans eat them with pasta. Thats an American thing. Just asking for the context of "authentic". Thanks for sharing. Hope you have a blessed Christmas. Ty.

  9. I have never in my life seen arthenic. Italian meatball made with carrot onion celeries in the meatball itself.I have never seen that meatloaf.Maybe, but not italian, authentic meatballs?Sorry wouldn't like that

  10. Thank you for sharing all this simple recipes . I love your cooking vlogs . Merry Christmas to you and your family 🎄🎉🎁

  11. Frannie that looks delicious i love the homemade sauce ive done the sauce with Italian sausage let it simmer absolutely love it. Merry Christmas Frannie ❤❤

  12. On my Dad's side, I am 1/4 Italian, from his dad, and 1/4 "Southerner", from his mom, This is exactly how she would have made meatballs and sauce. Itslian with a twist of Southern.

  13. The awesome thing about making food is each family makes things differently. As far back as i can remember, our family has been making spaghetti and meat sauce for Christmas. (with stew meat, sausage and meatballs) My great aunts made it way different than my Nana. Same family, but each one made it according to what they had on hand, what they grew and personal taste. My mom doesn't like thyme at all, where I love it so I tend to put it in my sauce, and she adds lots of basil. I am sure your meatballs were wonderful. I follow the same steps as you with slightly different ingredients according to what my family likes, which is a mark of a good cook. We make food for our family and I am sure those big meatballs are a hit! I am so glad you have some in the freezer too! I just made a bunch and froze them as well. Off topic of the recipe, but I like the new angle of the camera. Good job trying a new viewpoint. ( I like the other viewpoint, but it looks like you have more room to work) Merry Christmas to you and yours!

  14. I am Italian and my mother and aunts made the best meatballs, they never put those veg in the meatballs. They used breadcrumbs regenerated in some milk, egg, Parmesan, garlic, salt and pepper, and ground beef 80/20. Brown in Olive oil. Cook in homemade sauce for around four hours on a simmer. This is a real meatball authentic style.

  15. Love homemade meatballs. I put my in the crockpot. This looks delicious.Your such a joy to watch in the kitcken. You're my gal!!!

  16. I'm going to make this soon. I never make my meatballs that big, but I will next time. I wanted to add that I usually buy my tomatoes already crushed, they call it 'crushed tomatoes'. I used to blend them in my food processor until I saw they have them already crushed.

  17. The food sure looks fantastic! Try to add a bay leaf, dried or fresh just one, some thyme and oregano in the sauce. The flavours are amazing. We have ours with spaghetti and the sauce with the meatballs, one of our most enjoyable dishes. Thank you for sharing, this is a great recipe, comfort food. Eating this, gratitude comes out of every pore, have a beautiful blessed day.
