When we first visited Italy in 2018 on a cruise ship that departed Barcelona, I vowed I’d return and explore Tuscany.
We saw so much on that first Italy trip (Naples, Sicily, the Amalfi Coast, parts of Croatia and Greece and Mallorca, Spain) but we only got ONE DAY to visit Tuscany (and on a tour bus).
We returned in 2021, flying one Rome and out of Venice, but most of our trip was coastal.
We loved Amalfi, Capri, Positano, and Sorrento but somehow the goal of exploring Tuscany wasn’t entirely accounted for.
We did rent a car for one day and drove from Florence to Siena, which allowed us to drive through some of wine country, but this was only for ONE DAY (again!).
Returning now to celebrate for our 9 year anniversary was like a dream come true.
This time, we rented a car for four days and drove ourselves to the Tuscan countryside where we stayed for a couple of nights.
I LOVED seeing this part of Italy.
Work (and all things professional) have been especially busy since we’ve been back, and in ALL the best ways.
I’ve been coaching and consulting more than ever before, finishing my audiobook, and planning my third book, and connecting with all the right people.
So, I am STILL moving through all our video footage of our amazing Europe trip backwards and seeing it for the first time.
Last night, I finally had time to check out another day of GoPro footage.
Here’s some fun footage of our Tuscany adventures. These roads we drove are too beautiful not to share!
