It’s the holiday season in Little Italy, which means San Gennaro on Arthur Avenue is getting ready for the feast of the seven fishes. The cozy restaurant opened its doors in 2014. It may only have a few tables, but they’re all reserved by Bronxites hungry for authentic southern Italian cuisine. “I do Italian food, not Italian American,” Martinelli said. For more than 10 years, San Gennaro has been using the same three-man system: one head chef, a salad chef and one dishwasher. It’s a tiny kitchen, but the orders keep coming.

  1. In this video, she is talking about a Restaurant at Arthur Avenue, but she Omitted where,it’s in the Bronx-NYC,not in Brooklyn or Manhattan,it’s known as the Little Italy in the Bronx, not really known among New Yorkers, there’s No Public Transportation-Subways or Buses,Definitely Not worth the hassle, time or Money, that’s my own Personal Advice to anyone thinking about going there.

  2. I went to good restaurants all over Hollywood and West Los Angeles. One of my favorite Italian Joints made this Olive Spread to put on the fresh bread! That is still one of my favorites, is olives and fresh bread.
