Italy is a much more fun nation than I once gave them credit for, especially since Iberian Twilight implemented the Cultural Commonwealth, letting us spread our culture far and wide.

In this video, we’ll be pursuing a consumer-oriented food economy where we export piles and piles of Rigatoni to control the world’s food market, and make tons of money thanks to it. We also will pursue the spreading of Italian culture across Europe and South America.

I hope you enjoy.

  1. Renaming Prestige is great. My last game I only discovered after it popped up that my friend renamed Prestige Groceries to "Dino Nuggies".

  2. Actually if anyone wants to play fully agrarian country and kinda repeat the experiment, I highly recommend argentina and its unique companies

  3. Didn’t expect it when I started the video but, as someone with Celiac, I appreciate the care you have put into your play through to make it truly gluten-free. You’re so right, having to check the ingredients on everything is very annoying. Thank you!

  4. Price is not actually considered when pops decide what to buy. As far as I know, it's based entirely on supply number and the weights and max consumption defined in the pops file by the devs. Was this changed?

  5. Dietary restrictions are one of those first date screening questions – it seems unfair, but a life without Gluten, Peanuts, Meat, etc is more unfair.

  6. I'm writing a lot of papers on Food Sovereignty in uni and it's very cool watch this video with that perspective in mind. I'm still early in the video, I wonder how it'll turn out!

  7. fucking love your playthrough, I really enjoy the explanations on the economic side, it was more abstract when your started but really helpful and clear now, meming or not.

  8. The storytelling is what absolutely makes your videos. If I wanna see crazy exploits, Connors videos fit, but for a guy who plays Vicky to larp and write history you’ve absolutely hit the nail on the head. Hope your channel continues to grow

  9. Я имел уровень жизни в 32, играя за Испанию и продавая туринские автомобили из Пьемонта.

  10. 6:50 So this is why you might want to grow food in colonial administration. Keep the low skilled low wage work to peoples who are already oppressed and then you can use that for cheap goods to feed your high skilled high wage laborers in the metropole, increasing SOL, increasing GDP, and lowering the chance for revolution at home. Now I'm thinking like an imperialist.

  11. My investment pool have been 1.5bilion before but first in the 1880 or later when it grows and normaly its becuse they refuse to buld but not ofthen

  12. Dude this video is simply amazing! It's a light tutorial that is fun to watch entirely. I often struggle to enter in a new game, specially one with an high skill ceiling like Vic, this video help alot!

  13. 50:30 The most representative food from Aragón is probably "ternasco de Aragón" (Aragonese lamb). It follows some strict rules regarding age (70-90 days old), diet (only lactation and high quality natural cereal), breed (only like 4 regional breeds qualify), weight (8-13kg), and probably a few more that im missing. There is an organism to guarantee the quality of the product and that it fulfills all requirements.
The most common ways to prepare it are roasted, similar to Argentine asado, or with a local (shared with Navarra) sauce called "chilindrón" made primarily from peppers. I guess in this timeline it would also be made using the Italian sauce. There are many more local dishes and products, but I think this would be the most representative ane the one that lends itself to the rp the most.
Hope this helped you learn something about Aragón! With love, a long time Aragonese viewer.

(Also, paella is not Catalan, its Valencian. But Im sure this worlds Catalans will be delighted to dip their glorious calçots into the world dominating sauce you made.)
