A gentle, aromatic trail led Guido to a new treasure in the cellar.
This time he selected Maculan’s Torcolato, a dessert wine from Italy made by drying Vespaiolo grapes to concentrate their natural sweetness and perfume.
The wine’s bouquet brings together honey, delicate flowers, vanilla and subtle spice, while its full bodied texture is balanced by vibrant acidity.
Its versatility is one reason it’s so admired, pairing beautifully with pastries, regional treats like Fregolota and even aged or tangy cheeses.
