– Originally opened in early 2019 as the Emerald Palace Kempinski, the hotel was operated by the Kempinski Group. It was later transferred to the Accor Group, which owns the Raffles brand, and reopened in October 2021.

– Features magnificent Baroque architecture inspired by 18th-century European palaces.

– The Grand Foyer features a massive chandelier crafted in Venice and adorned with 40,000 Swarovski crystals. The hotel also features 24-karat gold leaf and natural stones, including the 300 million-year-old Rosa Portugalo.

– The hotel is known for its luxury, with even the smallest rooms measuring just 62 square meters (667 square feet).

– The interior design of the rooms and suites was handled by OBEGI Home, while the design of the penthouse and residences was handled by YoDezeen. The hotel also features Italian-made, handcrafted furniture by Italian artisan Francesco Molon.

– Features include a spacious spa, a private cinema, indoor and outdoor pools, and a 500-meter (1,640-foot) beach.

  1. Well, it was really nice as most of these places tend to be. A pricey mini bar when you're paying $1200/night seems ridiculous though.

  3. what is the point if the place is empty and soulless, I don't know if it changes during special events or something but I it's empty like this all the time then it's just not fun
