We are looking at how to pronounce Château de Versailles with the typical french pronunciation. Note that the S at the end of Versailles is definitely silent, so do not say VersailleSS but rather Versailles. Chateau de Versailles. The double L in French with an I just before sounds like a Y. So, just consider there was a Y here, which makes it much easier. Versaye. Chateau de versaille. Château de Versailles.
