Overlooking the Via Bolgherese, known as the “wine road”
located in the area of the San Walfredo farm, the Osteria del Tasso is born.
This small restaurant is immersed in the vineyards of the Antinori
family’s historic Tenuta Guado al Tasso.
Our menu was focused on interpreting the Bolgheri territory, where traditional local dishes are revisited with a modern twist and accompanied by a wide selection of Antinori labels among others.
Just a stone’s throw from the famous Viale dei Cipressi avenue in one of Italy’s best-known wine-producing areas, this restaurant occupies one of the region’s most famous wineries, namely Guado al Tasso, renowned for its excellent wines.
We had fine weather and could dine in the shade of plane trees looking out over the vineyards.
Simple, delicious and well-prepared cuisine, mostly traditional in style.
