As you may have heard, Italyโs cuisine has been recognised by UNESCO which means Italian food becomes World Heritage, will continue to be respected, and is protected from imitation. And who are the cornerstones of this cuisine? Grandmothers, of course. Weโre sure theyโre as delighted as we are at this news, and think that makes for many pasta-fuelled reasons to celebrate, donโt you agree?

I'd love to see some wheat farms and the milling process and some discussion about farming and varieties of wheat they grow.
How about some "farm to table" episodes such as sheep or cows to cheese making to recipes and cooking with the cheese.
More discussion about the varieties of tomatoes they grow, what the specific different qualities the different tomatoes have, so we can try finding and growing them in our own countries.
They are not the corner stones… they are the pillars of Italian cooking! Keep on finding those amazing Ladies. Saluti di Germania.
Iโd start a 2nd series called future grannies where you teach (young) people how to cook
Well done to the Italian grannies.
Some of my favorite episodes are when younger members of the family (children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren) are part of the shoot. Maybe you can include the nonnas' progeny and come up with a question or couple of questions about what their granny's food means to them and how it reflects the regional cuisine or Italy in general.
Please Revisit the nonna and nonnos from the most popular pasta granny videos
We already knew before UNESCO ๐๐๐๐๐โคโค congratulations ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
I SUOI VIDEO SONO BELLISSIMI…grazie per aver valorizzato la VERA cucina italiana.
When you said "ecosystem" I immediately thought of the unique native herbs that go into some of the recipes, plants that are perhaps found nowhere outside Italy. Some of them are being grown intentionally in the grannies' gardens, some seem to be gathered wild. It must take some special care and planning to make sure these species survive from generation to generation. I'd like to hear how people are making sure these plants continue to be available.
I would love another pasta grannies cookbook! Maybe all the different lasagnas? Love getting to teach my children how to cook (especially pasta) from scratch, hopefully itโs a skill they will pass down.
I would love to see a calendar with vibrant photos and recipes – that we could purchase – it would be a keepsake – maybe like one of those framed calendars with a beautiful photo (or better yet painting) for each month – I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for but I think it would be brilliant – this channel gives me so much joy
Ohhhhhhh yesss!! invite us all and we will help cook all these dishes maybe remotely, all at the same time, the exact recipe or we can have one long table with all the pasta grannies and we can cook their recipe for them. Via a competition??
I do cooking shows in Australia, I'm Italian, born and bred and I would LOVE to be a part of this incredible phenomena and help make it happen ๐โค๏ธ๐buon Natale a tutti
Consider covering overarching themes or threads that wind through Italian cooking, across regions, with single topic shows.
Could always feature the grannies passing the knowledge onto the next generation. I think more recipes that dont have pasta would also be good too
