Hi Gary thank you for a enjoyable Christmas dinner food review l am glad you enjoyed it but l think it’s a bit cheeky you had to buy cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes and pigs in blankets as extras my dinner would be roast chicken carrots, brussel sprouts, roast potatoes and pigs in blankets and cauliflower and gravy and the Christmas pudding and custard. And that was lovely you gave £20 for people to have something to eat and drink and a tip for your waitress a lovely gesture
They specialist in steak???? Really last time I went to one I walked out they are a disaster outfit.

I don't think I've been to a restaurant in the last 20yrs that didn't undercook the carrots!! Any you see plate after plate going back to the kitchen with nearly all the carrots uneaten! Why??

Pigs in blankets were undercooked, the meats need to brown and crisp. Beef gravy with foul? Nope. I never understood cauliflower cheese with a dinner with gravy. Serve it with pork chop or something that goes with cheese sauce.
I like the up-sell, people get to build the dinner they want, instead of forced to pay for things they may not like.

Overall looked nice though and under £50 for all that is pretty good. Defo worse dinners out there ( like Toby 😂)

Looked quite tasty. Whoever decided to stop putting sides with the main and starting charging separately should get a stern talking to. That is taking the piss, and now everywhere seems to do it. Nice of you to buy those dinners and I agree, it's nice to be nice all year round. Looking forward to some more Christmas themed reviews 🙂

We visited M&C in Maidstone, my wife’s treat for my birthday, I took your suggestion the festive menu 3 course, Turkey Ballantine with some pigs in blanket, It was absolutely delicious, (I did not put the gravy on the turkey, my carrots were cooked nicely), thanks for your review.
