I recently ate at Legends Eatery in Pittsburgh’s North Side for my dad’s birthday. I’d never eaten at this classic local restaurant and always heard good things. We ordered many different dishes and got a great idea of what they offer. We started with their house focaccia bread, fried polenta with sausage and peppers, and burrata with heirloom tomatoes. I got a fantastic and filling chicken parm. The rest got veal parm, eggplant parm, spinach ravioli and the evening pasta special. The family all enjoyed our main dishes. We finished dinner by splitting fried cannolis and chocolate cake. They are also BYOB. We forgot but next time I’d bring some batched cocktails and wine. I’d happily eat a delicious old school Italian meal at Legends Eatery again.
