Today I’m visiting the oldest restaurant in Italy, Ristorante La Campana in Rome! This restaurant has been in business since 1518 and is over 500 years old! They have some really interesting things on the menu, including lamb brains. I’m going to try a bunch of the food and let you know my thoughts on it. Let’s dive in!

The oldest restaurant in Italy is considered to be the Antica Trattoria Bagutto in Milan, whose documented origins date back to 1284 as a tavern ("berlochum"), making it the second oldest in Europe after the Stiftskeller St. Peter in Salzburg. However, it seems that this "place to eat" may have existed since Roman times. Indeed, the Regina road, which led from Milan to Cremona, passed through here.
I am half and half …USA -ITA …and you there in Rome to taste recipe of dishes that in Italy are Branded "poor dishes" why ? because are made with the parts of animals or vegetables that aren't NOBLE…+ AS Chef i can see you are from USA for the waste of the food you do !!! you order too much and waste too much food …you should have 0 waste of food !!! i can not stand it…HAVE YOU SEEN IN GAZA KIDS DIE STRARVING….they would go crazy even now for the waste from your table….
Nice video i write another post because the more i go on watching the more i suffer from that simple but first class ingredients that i suffer for the waste..knowing that all that goes back in the kitchen will go in the garbage can !! USA citizen waste a lot of food…..i find it a sin …specially if you respect and love food….
Love the shirt, one way to stand out in Italy. Of course they gave you the English menu. No italian would dress like that
