  1. Roberto is correct, except that Malta is not a "…dry rocks in the sea…" It is tue we tend to promote toursim, but still a LOT of Italians come to Malta. Witness the capital city, Valletta, There is more to see in Malta, especailly history. The other day I happened to be watchin an interview and I got new for you. Not only Malta has the Neolethic temples, but recentely they found out that the "hunter ghatherers" used to visit Malta from Sicily, whuch translates into, all books have to be changed to older than thought period..

  2. Roberto is correct, except that Malta is not ",,,.a dry island on the rocks…." Witness the many Italians that venture into Malta. Valletta, the capiatl city, is a must to visit. Not only Malta has Neolethic temples (some say the oldest in the world) but lately I was watching an interview with locals, and the famous "hunter ghatherers" have been around from Sicily, meaning that all books will have to be chaged to reflect an older period that the Neolithic period. All in all Malta is rich in history
