Italy’s cuisine just earned UNESCO heritage status, but its true spirit lives inside a Toronto bakery where tradition rises daily from the oven. Riviera Bakery’s story of culture, family and ritual. Brandon Rowe reports.
We're so lucky in Toronto to have food available from every "corner" of the globe (globes don't have corners but you know what I mean). Italian is a favorite of mine.
I grew up in the neighborhood and loved it. Riviera bakery was and is the place to go for great bread and pastries. Happy to see it featured on YouTube.

So many memories in this joint
My nonna always talked about how good the Cannolis were
I prefer the cheaper bakery at Costco. Less chitchat and a lower hit on my wallet. They also have free parking and free wifi.😂😂
Leave the international students and butter chicken take the cannoli
Don't break the Italian traditional food.🇮🇹🍝🍕🍞🥪.

proud to be Italian, and I'm so proud that our cuisine now is reconized by unesco. As my Nonna used to say: Simplicity at its finest.
