  1. Oh so beautiful, thanks for sharing. ❤ I have a question about the various gatherings you have been putting on, such as the street dinner and the September gathering. Do guests of these events need to find their own lodging? I figured yours would be rented out right away and wondered where else close by one could find a rental? Thanks for any info. ❤

  2. 🇮🇹 My favourites…. Parmigiano Reggiano, baccala (in red sauce w/onions & potatoes), chestnuts (roasted), artichokes (stuffed), chicory (either in frittata or my Nonna's Italian Christmas Soup). I think the closest thing in English for Chicory is Mustard Greens? 💖

  3. Прекрасное и атмосферное видео! Смотрела с удовольствием! Мари так хорошо и четко говорит, мне это очень нравиться

  4. Christmas in Tuscany..WOW !! A Delight !! Christmas Spirit !! & Friendly.!!
And The Loft Beautiful & Homy. Double door windows .WOW !! Christmas Music & and Setting up Christmas Decorations in your Street. Cheers !! Happy Christmas & A Happy New Year !!

  5. Thanks to you both for showing us around, and I also love the markets, so interesting! Beautiful scenery, and products.

  6. Cicoria = chicory in English , a staple of Italian food , you can find it everywhere even in the wild , a bit bitter but very healthy , it goes well with potatoes that match his bitterness ,
    Ciao dalle Marche

  7. The loggia would be amazing in spring and summer and now with the cyclamen and cosy warm blankets. Love Calci!! Gorgeous! A market with artisans actually making their goods – Tuscany always delights.
Enjoy cooking with all those veggies and cheese. It’s wonderful to support local people in that way.
I take a plastic bag when shopping as it’s stronger but always get produce in compostable bags for my compost bin in the kitchen.
Q Is Italy the only country to have 100 % compostable bags in supermarkets. If Italy can do it, why can’t the UK.
I always marvel at the lack of plastic when buying groceries here. Also, the fact that so many people cook from scratch and so UPF is kept to a minimum, in these smaller rural communities. 👌👌

  8. I agree maries voice too its very calming, but i love the history that we all get as well.another beautiful vlog nice to see you both looking so well,

  9. Thank you for sharing little insights into your lives in Tuscany. It is so lovely to be able to see things through your vlogs that I am unlikely to see otherwise.

  10. We loved the summer room during our stay. It was the perfect spot for a nap and the views are wonderful. The blankets are a lovely addition. ❤️

  11. Marie and Lorenzo another beautiful video! The guest room and summer room are so inviting and I would definitely curl up with those blankets, a book and un bicchiere di vino! Thank you for taking us on your market day shopping and the Christmas market. I think Italy is a must visit during Christmas.

  12. What happens in that room with stormy weather? no protection for the room from the elements?

  13. Great content! Keep it up. Just a suggestion: it would be really helpful to add a map location of each destination at the beginning of your vlog for better context and knowledge.

  14. The heating in Italy is sometimes a a problem,in autumn we were always freezing because the heatings in shops, restaurants ,hotels and apartments are not on yet

  15. Lorenzo doing the mother of all winces when you said you're usually not up so early in the morning…… 🙂

  16. You spoil us so much with your beautiful videos and slices of life in Vicopisano. Casa Colomba is an absolute dream as well.

  17. As a relatively new viewer, I can say that every episode is a joy to watch. I love seeing happy people! In America, life is not so happy at the moment, and you bring some peace and calm to our chaotic lives. Thank you, darlings. Hugs, kisses, and peace from New Mexico USA.

  19. Arugula also known as rocket/roquette is from the chicory family..in Australiawe tend to use rocket more than arugula

  22. Loved every moment of this. There is something special about your videos that others don't quite have. They really command your full attention, and I find myself wanting to be wherever you are so I can experience it firsthand. You are excellent at what you do, and I hope you find tremendous success. Thank you.

  23. Cooking episode with Lorenzo's purchases? Please….The Christmas markets are incredible! Thanks for all the little towns you take us to.

  24. Greetings from United States, Wisconsin. Tonight we have -7°F !!!🥶 (-21.6C) You have very cold weather for your area.
The flowers outside the windows are beautiful and I love how the windows open. The tower bedroom bed is gorgeous!
Your open market is a wonderful way to buy your fresh produce. Such a fancy truck that can rolls up to the spot and open its soft sides. I don’t think I have ever seen a vehicle of the likes. The greens look delicious. My grandmother called it chicory, maybe they are a dandelion greens. Oh biscotti, I will be making some this week. The eggnog liquor sounds wonderful. My mouth is watering.
Thank you for another superb video.
