Italian Property Renovation and lifestyle of living in Italy. Setting out the water supply and drainage for the oustide summer kitchen. Building steps and finishing the natural stone wall that has created a bed around the old tree. Gas prices in Italy are changing – I show how much I paid for a medium and large gas bottle. Will my field be ploughed in time for the 30 olive trees to be planted? More new neighbours.

A special thank you to Gerrard for creating the song that I used in my video (the 2nd song).

Cheers all,
Richard.

  1. Richard a cheap way to mark lines or spots for plants etc is use a cheap bag of flour, it’s easy to see, cheap to buy and safe for the environment ❤

  2. Hiya Rich, it was a 2 glass of wine viewing today, let alone creating it. Love your enthusiam. Totally get tomorrow never comes. The guy i bought my house from has had marine biology equipment stored in the basement for two years, he is always moving it next week. God job i am also in no rush 😅

  3. Hey Richard…I thought you might be interested to know that, occasionally, your Mancunian English defeats my American ears and I have to turn on subtitles. In fact, I think it rather adds to the appeal of your channel, which I enjoy immensely. Can I get you to promise that you'll keep it going even after the house is finished?

  4. Hi Richard.
How do fresh produce prices (fruit, veg, meat, poultry, dairy etc) compare with the UK?
    Thanks

  5. The wine is from Terracruda in Fratterosa – my favorite Marche winery. Go visit Luca and say hi for me.

  6. Just a tip: it's twice as easy digging with a good pair of hard soled heavy boots, rather than soft soled sneakers!! Greater pressure on the shovel.

  7. Hi Richard, my wife Ann and I watch you from Melbourne, Australia, and are loving your vids. I wanted to tell you that all the experts in this world started the same way you have, not knowing how to do things, but by watching, researching, and having a go, is how we all learn how to do things in life that we all thought we couldn't do. Any way stop doubting yourself and get on building your dream mate. When you sit down at the end of a hard day, you can say to yourself, "Yeah, I did that!. Also, as a favor to me, can you please stop playing music behind you when you talk, because I am hard of hearing and this drives me crazy. Thanks. Anyway, you are doing a great job, keep it up. Cheer,s Ray and Ann

  8. Ugh, I paid €65 for my gas bottle, I’ll defo be shopping around next time – think how much wine I can get with that €20 I’ll save 🤣

  9. I love people like you with no filter, as im the same. Honest and direct. Your charisma makes this channel extra worthy. Already looking forward to the next video!

  10. Was watching you vigorously digging out and raking the trench and was amazed at your energy. Then I remembered I had you on double speed. Well done in any case Richard!

  11. Why on earth are you digging holes for water pipes outside when you don’t even have running water in your kitchen? Or an actual kitchen for that matter 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

  12. I always have a good time watching your videos. Lots of fun. Even when I don't understand what exactly you are doing. Hilarious. Thanks.🤣👍👍👍

  13. I’m from Rochester, NY and I have been enjoying your videos from the beginning . What a small world it truly is. Keep up the good work, Cheers Richard!

  14. Have done construction for about the same time as you are old, 22yrs 😮😅 Screw the bad comments, take the good and run with them. Did the same thing shoveling into the wheelbarrow when I started, except the wheelbarrow was wood with a stone wheel. Thanks.

  15. Again a fantastic on site vlog. The work you are doing will all be worth it in the end. You work like a trojan m8. The area you show us when driving about and stopping off makes me.and the missus want to visit the area . We live tuscany and coronation looks amazing. Once again great vlog and great work. Rob n Sandra

  16. After laying all that pipe work, you earned that bottle of wine mate! 🤣🤣 Love your idea of handing over the job to the younger ones. Hope it comes sooner rather than later. Sending good energy to you to fulfill your dreams.

  17. You need hot water to wash your hands and utensils while cooking. The freeze is brutal on an inline tankless water heater. That was my first, second and third try. I have a small, electric water heater (tank) that I disconnect and drain in the winter. I literally, just did it an hour ago. Don't have a regret. Cooking chicken demands hot water. I can send you a picture if it helps.
