******RECIPE******
Serving Size: 3-4

Ingredients:
Steak-
2 ribeye or sirloin steaks, cut into bite sized pieces
1/2 tbsp browning sauce (optional)
Salt & Pepper
Olive oil

Red Wine Sauce-
1/2 stick of butter
1 Pictsweet® Farms Recipe Helper Seasoning Blend 10 oz. bag
1 tbsp of minced garlic
4 Baby Red Potatoes, cut into bite sized pieces
1/2 cup red wine
4 cups beef broth or stock
Season to taste/Herbs & Spices (Optional)

Instructions:
1.  Season your steak to your liking. If you use browning sauce please
be gentle on the salt as the browning sauce is already salty. The
browning sauce is optional.

2. Brown steak in olive oil or any cooking oil in a large pan
on medium heat. Avoid overcrowding the pan (cook in batches if
necessary). Cook the steak for 1-2 mins per side or to your desired
doness. Transfer steak to a plate and set it aside (keep any liquid
and drippings leftover in the pan).

3. Add in butter. After it melts add in your onions and peppers and
cook until translucent and then add in the garlic and potatoes.

4. Add in the red wine and stir until the liquid comes to a boil and
thickens very slightly.

5. Add in beef broth/stock and reduce the heat to a medium low
setting and simmer while stirring occasionally until potatoes are
fork tender and liquid is reduced.

6. Season to taste. Add in any additional salt, pepper, herbs and
spices if you feel it is necessary. Adjust this recipe to your liking.
I sprinkled in some Italian seasoning and seasoned pepper
because it was flavorful enough for me so I didn’t add in
any additional salt. You can add in parley, thyme, rosemary, etc.

Note:
Feel free to adjust this recipe to your liking.
