Guazzetto means “splashed with wine” in Italian. This dish comes from northern Italy and normal calls for beef or pork. I’m changing it up a bit today and using red wine instead of white and three types of poultry. You can use many spices in Guazzetto however, I’m using ground cloves in mine. The region calls for this spice. You can use whatever you’d like and what you feel would go with your protein of choice! This came out so delicious, I over indulged! I had it with a beautiful glass of organic red blend and a nice piece of homemade sourdough! I may be able to move out of my chair by tomorrow! It’s literally the best thing I’ve made in the last year! I hope you give it a try. The Italian Egg Pappardelle made it outstanding!! 😋🍝🫶
