3 Days in Florence, Italy: A Taste of History, Coastlines, and the World’s Best Pizza

On Day 1, I spent the day exploring the heart of Florence — wandering through its narrow cobblestone streets, I was blown away by the size of the the stunning Duomo! . I visited iconic spots like the Ponte Vecchio and went to see Michelangelo’s David. Then ended the evening with a quick stop at the world famous wine window and watching the sunset from the bridges running through the center of the city.

Day 2 was all about the Tuscan countryside. I joined a Chianti wine tour and spent the day driving through rolling hills covered in vineyards and olive groves. We stopped at 2 local wineries to taste authentic Chianti wines and I made some new friends during the tour. The Tuscany countryside was a perfect day trip from the city.

On Day 3, I soaked up a bit more of Florence’s atmosphere — strolling through markets, stopping at a local cafe for a bite then resting and taking it easy. Also known as recovering from a hangover.

This trip gave me a little bit of everything: art, culture, food, and the laid-back beauty of Tuscany.
