Aperitivo is Italy’s take on tailgating, where you enjoy snacks and wine or cocktails before a big event.

The main difference being that Italians are excited about food more than sports.

Oil Dip:
– On a flat plate, mix extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and your favorite spices. I used my homemade BBQ rub.

For Show:
– Dip a red-hot iron rod into a glass of beer to warm it, enhancing the caramel notes.

Bread:
– Use day-old bread; moisten the crust and reheat it briefly.
