Think I'll just do the Schengen Shuffle instead, the tax authorities in Italy sound like an extension of the Mafia
How long does your rental contract have to be(min.) before buying a primary permanent home in Italy under the 7% tax regime? Thanks
My primary income comes from a pension fund, it is called a pre-pension income. in a few year when a become 58 year of age it is finally called pension. I understand the word pension is needed for the 7% tax regime. Is the word 'pre-pension" also sufficient including all the all other points to comply for the 7% tax regime in Italy? THANKS
Thank you, Chip & Christian. Great information and Christian seems to be a great resource for expats in Italy.
Thank you. This is very helpful. I will attend in May. I have a rental property in NY. Will this "passive" comply for the elective visa? Thank you.
