With the help of winemaker Giacomo Tachis, he was not only the first person to grow Cabernet Sauvignon in his area, but also the first to blend it with Sangiovese.
This is the wine you are going to want to buy and tuck up in the corner of your collection for a special occasion.
Big dark fruits up front, with a long satisfying earthy finish. If you plan on drinking this now, you will want to decant it and really let some air get into the wine. Otherwise, this is the kind of wine that you will want to save for that special occasion. This will easily cellar 10-20 years down the line.
