The Best Roast Pork In Philadelphia | Best In Town

  1. “the nick”? You lazy clowns. Come on. Why do you employ these phony tik tok wannabes instead of local people who know what they are talking about?

  2. A city known for having the worst, most aggressive, hateful sports fans, puts greens on one of their most renowned sandwiches. Tough guys?… perhaps not.

  3. I love John’s, especially for their cheesesteaks but I definitely wish they did broccoli rabe bc otherwise their sandwich is perfection. Just can’t get behind the spinach

  4. I know these two women did not eat the sandwiches, especially the blind if you’re going to do a Food video you have to eat. It looked too bougie and fake.

  5. John himself actually offered me a job at John’s roast pork. I declined it unfortunately as I was traveling through the area. I still think till this day, what could have been. 🤔

  6. I liked John's way better than DiNic's.
I think the sharp provolone was a bit too harsh for me. So at John's I got it with mild provolone. Maybe DiNic's harshness came from the broccoli Rob. But I thought it was the sharp of the long

  7. Said dinics was as close to perfection as you can get and both voted for another place lol

  8. The moment I saw the owner and manager at High Street that their sandwich was gonna be the smallest and most expensive lmao.

  9. Ok…I've had a Chicago Italian Beef and Dnic's Roast Pork. I can't choose between them. I'm making a roast pork for Labor Day but I routinely make my attempt at Italian Beef complete with a dip and giardiniera. I'm also conflicted by NY vs Chicago style pizza. I love biscuits and the Chicago reminds me of home. But I've had thin NY style pizza that was amazing. I suspect my parents bought me a car in order to go get the pizza from Luca's at Ingram Mall in SATX circa 1998…until I wrecked that car…and Luca's got shut down for dealing cocaine.

  10. Watching these two women trying to bite these sandwiches with their MINIATURE MOUTH was annoying AF. Reserve the two females for biting into finger/tea sandwiches.

  11. DiNic's is the best location and it is pretty easy to get. If you cant get a seat at DiNics you can eat in the food court. And plenty of other shops to see. Johns is a pain to order from. Would like to taste High Street. Very gourmet a lot of extra time goes into the bread and broccoli.

  12. Dinic’s is the best, was there today, the food is top notch, better yet you can rap with Joe who’s a gentleman!👌

  13. For EU citizens 🇪🇺. I was to Dinics in 2025. The meat has no flavor, there was not even salt, the cheese is disgusting, nothing like European cheeses. The staff is rude to the max. I threw away the whole sandwich after 2 bites.

  14. Retired chef here this sandwich looks great. Put the pork on a sheet pan and spread it out, not stacked when putting in the walk-in. You want it to cool quickly to get it out of the danger zone.
