Alex, even though I’m Irish, I love this series about Italy and everything about Italy has always chimed with me on every level – I must have been Italian in a past life ❤
We have had the blessing of being able to spend collectively a couple of years (over many) in Sardinia. We love it. We spend most of our time on the West coast – a less known treasure.
Some things remind me of my youth in southern Spain (Andalucía) in the early 60s. We used to go to the beach in the late afternoon to buy those small fried fish from the fishermen. We also had suckling pigs roasted on wood exactly the same way as shown here. The shepherds visited our land twice per year asking to have their goats eating our grass. We would receive goat milk and herbs they had gathered during their travels in the region.
Thank you for taking this journey & showing us the magnificent scenery & landscape of Sardinia it is hauntingly beautiful & captivating –
Love all the murals & rusticity. ❤🥀
Beautiful island.I am originally from northern Morocco and Sardinia reminds me a lot of it .I also adore sardines
You definitely need to visit Argentina, you will see all this methods of cooking meats on the coal fire 🔥 😊
Alex 😊
Yes 😊indeed majority people at certain age would like so much to linger on the personal attachment history ❤I did experienced the wonderful moment too 🎉good then 🎉bravo
You should be going every year Alex
I think I know why people are living so long in Sardinia, as there are no fast food chains, KFC, McDonald's, pizza hut, chip shops, kebabs, coca cola, processed foods etc, our genes prefer natural organic foods locally produced, dear scientists 😂❤🪴🌱🌳🍇🍐🍉🍒🥦🥕🥒🍅🫐
never understood when thinks are put behind a camera it looks so beautiful
where is this beautiful market
looks amazing😊😊
sadly it will only be a matter of time before tourists and super yachts will bring pollution, plastic, drugs and anything else that can destroy this wonderous Island.
You didn't talk about the radioactivity at the nato training ground. That also belongs to Sardinia.
I love the fact that the elderly are respected and family take care of them
Also in countries of ex Yugoslavia (Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Macedonia we eat the same kind of suckling for new year and weddings!
Beautiful!
In Spain (Plaza Mayor) we also had suckling pig as well as in Segovia and Avila…
Thank you for your excellent work!
