  2. Alcohol is a chemistry, but not its own, with different reactions from everyone. If you offer me the drink that gets mean be prepared.

  4. Alcohol is a poison. HARD STOP. The liver breaks down alcohol in acetaldehyde, which is a poison and affects every cell in the body. The "buzz" that is obtained from drinking alcohol comes from poisoning the body. Many people enjoy drinking alcoholic beverages but drinking more than 1 or two oz a day is bad for long term health. Drink in moderation or not at all for long term physical and mental health. Good luck and God Bless.

  5. More fear mongering from the medical industrial complex. Eat well, your diet should be guided by your culture and what your ancestors ate before all of this processed junk was around. Exercise regularly, manage stress and enjoy the occasional glass of wine.

  6. Red Wine has been consumed during ancient times. The Romans & Greeks along with the common man drank red wine & in moderation & red wine does have has health benefits but keep in mind, in moderation, which is one glass and maybe two glasses at most. Also, this is not a daily activity but maybe 1x or 2x a week. Cheers! 🍷

  7. 73 yo now have 5-6 oz Barefoot Sweet Red Blends late evening before bed. NOW I can sleep thru the night. I get up maybe 5ish for bathroom break & go right back to sleep.
    “It’s a stimulant!”
    Not for me!
    Covid left me with an autoimmune disease, Myasthenia Gravis-limited medications for me. I decided what’s worse, pill after pill or a little wine?
    A good nights sleep is amazing.

  9. Why is this a paradox,the fat in a normal amount of food which curbs temptation between meals.. afternoon,morning and evening picking at fruit maybe cheese maybe 1 to 2 oz plenty of wine .While meals r a ritual or socializing of the day ,no fuss no problems…

  10. Studies also had conflicts of interest with the alcohol industry, because they paid them to say alcohol is good for your cardiovascular health.

  12. Early 90s it started that red wine is good for your heart cos a story on tv went viral. Ummm….nothing went viral in the early ‘90s cos the phrase ‘went viral’ didn’t exist.

  13. Southern Italian cuisine from a lovely wine village here. My town is home to many centenarians, and red wine is a regular feature on our tables.

  14. I would say stress is the real French secret. Not allowed to eat at their desk, given adequate breaks, something like six weeks off a year, probably more if you actually counted sick days…

  15. i suspect red wine can be healthy only after stress is well-managed & consumed amongst family/friends vs. when someone who does not manage stress well & consumed in isolation

  16. I'm epically conditioned. Do CF, bro pump, walk 4 miles a day among other activities, 53 years of ago. I'm a huge wine fan, I have a 2,400 bottle wine room in my home and collect very high end cabs etc. That said, alcohol, in general interferes with my sleep, in a big way. And since I have genetic markers and bad arterial health, the amount of wine or any alcohol needs to be measured.

People don't get it,if you overdue anything it can cause problems to you,drinking a glass of wine in moderation won't do anything to you i drink wine maybe 2 or 3 three times a week and there is time's i don't have anything for a whole week,and it depends on the person,some people can do things other's can't.
    Funny how some people can do some thing's all there life and just be fine,where as you have people that can't do the same,people are just wired differently,you gotta know yourself,and some people don't truly know while there doing whatever there doing until life just tells you.

  18. My family comes from a little village in Greece. They all drank their own wine every night with dinner. I didn’t see any drunk people in the village, ever. One grandmother lived to 101 the other 104. Fresh air organic fruit and vegetables ( no chemical spraying) and a little red wine with dinner.
    All our food is contaminated with rubbish, and the red wine you buy in liquor stores are full of chemicals. All for convenience. It’s a losing battle.
