Non ha senso venire in Italia, dove ancora può trovarsi tanto cibo buono e di qualità e comprare la roba che hai comprato tu. Purtroppo l'Italia si sta americanizzando sempre più anche nel cibo, ed è per questo che nei supermercati si trova anche quello che hai comprato, quai tutto confezionato e non fresco, tutto a base di zuccheri, cioccolata, grassi…tutta roba di produzione industriale e ultraprocessata, a parte quel bel peperone. Non so come fai, se mangi così, a non avere il diabete, la glicemia e il colesterolo fuori controllo. Si può comprare roba molto più buona e sana, e se a qualcuno non importa curare la propria dieta, può comunque mangiare cibi grassi o ipercalorici ma di qualità molto superiore.

So kinder eggs are available in Italy, and I am sure in many other countries. We have them here in Canada, but they are banned in US because of choking risk. Ok, so should elementary children in US not go to school because of risk of being shot at. Only in US
I would like this video better if it cut straight to the products without the fast forward traveling through the supermarket. Maybe once at the beginning to show how big the store is. Otherwise it's wasted time and disorienting.
Chinotto is pronounced kinotto, chi in Italian is not pronounced like chi in chicken

Guys, for fresh vegetables, use disposable gloves.
It's not optional; Its use is considered mandatory in most supermarkets when touching vegetables for hygiene reasons. It may seem silly or absurd to you, but please. I'm so used to it now that it bothers me to see people touching fruit and vegetables that I might have to eat.

We have had a blast grocery shopping in Roma. They’re kind of like mini Costco’s in some cases. There was a Lido in Magliana that we really liked. We get half way through the store and bam, we’re in a little department store with clothes and household products and more.
The products offered all seemed of really good quality and freshness when it came to produce, fruits and vegetables.

We just got back from rome on the 21st. Finished out trip in Trastevere, and went to Conad as well! We used alot of your tips and videos for the trip. Got the tuna pizza twice.

I liked the Conad brand lemon soda and orange soda very much. The lemon one was a bit too strong for me but was perfect when watered down a bit. The Conad orange soda tastes (to me) like carbonated, actual sweet orange juice
I crostini si mettono nelle vellutate e nelle zuppe in brodo, solitamente di verdura😅,se uno vuole li può sgranocchiare così come sono ma sono un po' duri😂😊

Ciao, ho visto per la prima volta il vostro video e volevo dirvi che il Cornetto Algida è un gelato buonissimo, è sempre stato un marchio italiano, se guardi il simbolo noterai che è il gelato venduto in tutto il mondo, come il magnum ed altri formati. Da qualche anno, come tutte le eccellenze italiane, Algida è stata assorbita da un marchio credo inglese. Lo Stracchino invece ti spiego perché si chiama così: nel nostro dialetto Milanese "STRACCO" vuoi dire "STANCO". Il latte con cui facevano questo formaggio era il latte preso dalle mucche alla sera al ritorno dal pascolo, quando le mucche erano "STRACCHE", cioè erano "STANCHE". E quindi il formaggio viene chiamato STRACCHINO.

Scusa ma scrivo mentre guardo il video, e vedi che ti piace la Fanta, anche questo, purtroppo, è un grande prodotto italiano, passato nelle mani della Coca Cola. La pubblicità negli anni 70 diceva FANTA! L'ARANCIATA DI ARANCIA. Perché era ed è ancora buonissima, sicuramente quella che vendono negli Stati Uniti è di un colore diverso e fatta con qualcosa che non è arancia. Il chinotto, invece, è una bevanda fatta con un agrume, come l'arancia per esempio, che si chiama CHINO ed è coltivato soprattutto in Calabria. È un agrume amaro ma nella bevanda è buonissimo. Se vedendo il video trovo ancora qualcosa di interessante te lo scrivo. Ciao.

In the Italian Fanta there is a percentage of orange juice. In the American Fanta there is none
In Florence supermarkets, gloves are used to pick up fruit and vegetables.
STRACCHINO, ROBIOLA, CRESCENZA to be spread on FETTE BISCOTTATE that you bought. PROSCIUTTO COTTO or PROSCIUTTO CRUDO or BRESAOLA = a MUST. See amongst sweet pastries if they have SBRODOLONI with CHANTILLY CREAM inside … to die for !!
CROSTINI are excellent in a soup of various veges, then blended until it looks like VELLUTO = velvet, therefore the dish's name VELLUTATA or also eaten like pop corn. The red PEPERONE you had in yr hands… buy 3-5 and wash, slice, fry for a few minutes in a pan with a bit of olive oil and cloves of garlic if you ike, add a bit of water, cover up and let simmer on low heat until they are soft and juicy (ca. 20-30 min), then add 1 or 2 anchovies and let it simmer for a while more, add a tiny bit of water if needed; great with boiled potatoes. An easy dish and very tasty. The dish name is PEPERONATA (with anchovies), google PEPERONATA and you will see the various ways to do it … OR add slices of raw peperone in a salad.
