  1. You should know by now people nowadays are basically are idiot in kitchen. Nobody can cook like our parents and grandparents. Sadly. But true. Millennial generation are bunch of lazy, but gen z is the worst at cooking.

  2. Store bough carbonara is so bad for no reason
It always taste gone off and like it was made with the idea of carbonara but only had replacements for ingredients

  3. Carbonara’s origin? Chicago!
The Italian/Roman version is called Pasta Gricia. The only real difference: Carbonara uses eggs. That’s why, after WWII, it was literally known as “American pasta with egg.”

    And the first written reference?
    -1952 in Chicago.
    – Rome? Not until 1954.

As for the idea that “heavy cream is forbidden”:
Gualtiero Marchesi — the first Italian chef to earn 2 and later 3 Michelin stars would have laughed. His Carbonara included heavy cream. 😜😄

The no-cream rule is just a modern trend.
We call that Food Fascism, invented in Italy, like the original fascism itself: facts not allowed!

  4. just curious, why Europeans only have salt and paper for seasoning? I am pretty sure I read the history book and they conquered the world for hudred years and stuff. Why they didnt learn anything?

  5. I get that this is just a bit of fun, but people should know that putting cream in carbonara has been a practice in Italy for decades. Famously the first 3 Michelin starred Italian chef ever put cream in his carbonara recipe

  6. You guys can't approve shit, recipes vary on region, so if I don't want pepper, or I can't buy guancale, then I will use whatever I want, piss off Lionfield brothers!
