Hiya John ! what can I say about the WS Top 100? For me it used to be something I was waiting all year long but now it is something I simply do not care anymore. The only wine I care is the wine of the year and it only serves for a conversation topic among my friends that I entertein. I found this years list bland and zero interesting. Maybe I was waiting to see more Napa cabs and some Pomerols….but whatever. This list, however, seems to be very important to many and I respect that.
chateau talbot is such an underrated beautiful wine . i believe they had a top ten in 2019 . happy for them .Between the number 10 du-pape or the number 15 du-pap which one do you prefer ?
Do you know where they get the prices? Giscours doesn’t seem to be available for $68 anywhere. It looks more like $90+
