The result of tariff changes is complicated. As the economics dude said, if the imports decrease, and production ramps up in the US, those US companies will take advantage of less competition and also jack up the prices (even though it would likely increase the number of jobs, to a degree). But make no mistake, prices would go up, as a net effect. These things are complicated, and water has a way of finding it's level. Ultimately, efficiency in any transactional system prevents prices increasing abnormally. Tariffs are known not to promote trade efficiency. They are friction to the trade system.
Well according to the likes of Trump, Miller, Bessent, Lutkin, etc., these businesses all just need to get their acts together and grow the "imported pasta" in the US 🤷🤦
This is Trump's way of rigging taxes against liberals. Since the gloves are off, I am advocating for factualism in the US. If you think you can gain control over the US government, just reorient it to harm whoever you don't like.
Several restaurants are using this tariff as a way to renegotiate their lease agreements with the current owner or property management company. Many restaurant owners are using this tariff situation as a way to ask every vendor for a discount.

I'm doing my very best not to write a joke for her talking about "How it's touching you right here at home." while a man is cooking on video.
Make it in the US !🇺🇸

Imagine if people voted for the biracial woman who ran for president… We wouldn't be in this mess
MaMA Mia what are we gonna do!?
That's what's happening when you never have to vote again. Remember?
Use local products, even products made by italians here. And it will be cost less and less price to consumers. Who says these guys are right.
…not if you’re making the pasta fresh from scratch. This will show it.
