  1. Well done Agnese. I love your ability to verbalize exactly what your senses are telling you. I also enjoyed seeing my friend Vince. The two of you need to collaborate on more content!

  2. Great video, I would be amazed if any wine professional other then Wildman would have gotten wine 3. I would have gone for Italy just because they have so many wine verities. I was also being English centric when trying to come up with 2 words one being an element. Neither my French or Italian would allow me to go through the periodic table of elements. I try not to drink the same wine very many times as there are so many wines to try, Ruche is underrated and can be fun if you like roses.

  3. I don't like syrah but will probably try the others. I'm going to suggest ribolla as underrated, even though it can be hard to find and expensive in the USA, it is cheap and excellent when I visit my relatives in Slovenia.

  4. What an interesting and unique concept for a blind tasting! Cheers for correctly guessing that Silvaner!

My underrated wines 🤔 Georgian Saperavi, Spanish Godello and Portuguese Duoro reds. 🍷🥂

  5. Oh I love this format and I follow the gentlemen who contributed to this episode. I look forward to tasting these gems!

  6. Too much snobbery/ authoritarianism in wine. If you like it, it’s good, duh. Much of the time one’s impression is influenced by whether you liked the producers, or the company you shared it with. That suffices. We are all influenced by the experts and point scores, but there are so many obscure, hidden gems. It’s a wonderful journey, and many of the experts are interesting! Enjoy, cheers.

  7. My wife and I agreed it took a great deal of courage for you to undertake this video. An obscure grape from an unknown growing area. Take a guess. Good luck, Agnesa! 😅. The video reflects both your knowledge and honesty, both of which are appreciated. Rhone varietals from Central Coast CA are terrific values, so I am glad that Vince mentioned one. I am currently enjoying a Syrah from Paso Robles rated 93 points by WE and an Editors Choice. Only $20 USD. Wine does not have to be $$$$ to be good as you and your guests point out. Thanks.

  8. Fun video. So impressive that you were able to get the wine professionals to choose a wine and record the videos on your behalf.

  9. @5:15 I think Andrew is right. Based on your initial description I thought: 'that sounds like a wine I'd appreciate'. And I caught myself thinking, 89 points maybe isn't worth seeking it out. Which is idiotic really.
Edit: The reveal made my day. I've got a couple Franken Sylvaner in my cooler. I've not yet tasted them. But I guess I won't have to seek out any after all 😅

  10. I prefer Domaine Terrebrune for Bandol wines. It’s appears more elegant to me. Their rose is rich like a red.
I also find Livermore CA Petite Sirah quite enjoyable, especially the balanced ones.

  11. I really enjoyed this format. You should make it a yearly thing of it. I like V is for Vino. A trailer for his latest episode just dropped actually.

  12. AMAZING episode!!!!! Not only did I have you and Vince on my podcast – The Value of Values (still have not released your episode yet….its coming!) but I actually have the Domaine du Cros Lo Sang del Pais, Marcillac, France! When I saw the label from Tim Wildman I was shocked that I actually have a bottle of that wine. What a cool episode!!!!!
