Previously we did a video eating at Valentino’s which we dubbed “the biggest buffet in the midwest”. Looking back that was a flat out lie. We apologize.. but now we found Cinzetti’s which may be the biggest Italian buffet in the midwest. I hope that’s true so we aren’t lying once again.

I'm not big on pasta strands either but angel hair has a place. Break it into 1 or 2 inch pieces and throw it into homemade soup. That's the quickest cooking pasta.
Puttanesca is one of the best and easiests pasta sauces I know of, as long as the saltiness is held in check. The original spaghetti alla puttanesca means "whore's-style spaghetti". As the great James Barber explained, it's a quick sauce so the ladies of the night could return to work quickly. (The name of the dish may be more metaphoric than literal.)
Don't leave out from the sauce a good amount of chopped parsley. Don't leave the olives whole — and pit them yourself. Pre-pitted olives have an inferior texture and extra saltiness. I don't like olives by themselves but they are important to the sauce. As are the capers and anchovies. (The final dish is not fishy but minus the anchovies the sauce loses its glory.)
Fun fact: Eggplant is a fruit. It has seeds. Okra, another freaky "vegetable" is technically a seed pod. The whole okra plant is edible.
A better way to taste eggplant is in Indian or Middle Eastern cuisine. (There are great Italian eggplant dishes but the parm often drowns out the eggplant.)
