  1. Don’t let this republican lady’s mouth fool you, after December 31, 2025 thousand of people are no longer having affordable healthcare for sure.

  2. Republicans think we are believing their lies! We need them voted out! They are tearing this country down! Continue to fight Democrats, we are with you!

  3. The fact that the people sitting in the room can vote is cringing and unfair. What’s the point of having a debate if everyone is stuck on their vote? Everyone should be able to vote not just those who have a seat inside the White House!

  4. Vote out these small d Democrats: Reps. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez of Washington, Jared Golden of Maine, Adam Gray of California, Don Davis of North Carolina, Henry Cuellar of Texas and Tom Suozzi of NY.

  5. On the subject of snap funding I feel that what needs to be done is to 1st agree to a set time period long enough to transfer that responsibility to the states where these recipients reside. The policies created in each state are what creates the problems that created the need for assistance for most recipients. Each state has different policies. Some good and others completely unsustainable . It is ridiculous to think the federal government should be responsible for the policies made in each state that the federal government should pay for. It is important that the state be held responsible for the policies that they make. otherwise if the government pays for the bad policies of incompetent state governments then those governments just keep remaining in control and feel no pressure to correct them. The voters need to experience that which their votes have empowered . It will promote change either in state governments or in policy . Either way for the better . And a more efficient sustainable future for each state . the voters ultimately are what should determine policy and as long as the feds pay the damages change will not occur. The state is responsible not the federal government.

  6. Decorum! Stopnluing about what "ILLEGAL ALIENS" GET. YOU ARE MISSLEADING AND ENGAGINE IN WAR. Foul play and slander by republicans is unacceptable! Yah know!! How convenient for you today. The yound republican who memtioned Zohan is out of line! Decorum!!

  8. Why is it that both enemy parties are using the same verbiage as it relates to the reason that the shut down happened and who used it as a bargaining chip? The republicans are not even pro government assistance programs, so I don't understand why they are pretending to care when there's our elders, and our veterans that still need some of those needed resources. This is the media, this is how it works, as long as the people hear it, it is cemented in their brain to go tell others. Reading is fundamental, government shut downs only happens when there is no common vote. There's no one person who can say, lets agree to just shut the government down. I honestly, am not a democratic, nor a republican, more like independent. I understand both parts on the spectrum. Circumstances can change at any juncture.

  9. To truly change who relies on government resources, we need to encourage individuals to pursue technical or trade education that qualifies them for funding—rather than allowing long-term dependence without a path forward. These grants and state programs are already in place; we should tie them to skill-building and qualifications. That’s how we reduce the ongoing strain on taxpayer dollars. Still, as history has shown, we must remain open to trying different approaches to see what truly works.
