This Sunday was Pizza Sunday — so we made BBQ Chicken and Beef Rasher Pizzas topped with creamy feta and fresh avo, paired with crispy baked wings on the side. Simple to make, fun to share, and best enjoyed straight from the oven.

Ingredients
Pizza Dough (No-Prebake)
2 cups all-purpose flour
2½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
¾ cup plain yogurt (or water for a lighter base)
2 Tbsp olive oil

Toppings
½ cup BBQ sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
1 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded or cubed
½ cup beef rashers, pan-fried and chopped
1 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
½ cup feta cheese, crumbled
1 ripe avocado, sliced
Fresh herbs (parsley or basil) for garnish
Olive oil, for brushing

Wings
500g chicken wings
1 Tbsp BBQ spice
1 Tbsp olive oil
Salt & pepper, to taste

Method

1. Prepare the wings:
Preheat the oven to 200 °C (fan 180 °C). Toss the wings in BBQ spice, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread on a lined tray and bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and crisp.

2. Make the dough:
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add yogurt and olive oil, mix to form a rough dough, then knead lightly on a floured surface for 1–2 minutes until smooth.

3. Shape the base:
Roll out the dough to fit your oven tray — about ½ cm thick. Lightly oil or line the tray, then place the dough on it.

4. Add toppings:
Spread BBQ sauce evenly over the base. Add chicken and beef rashers, then top with mozzarella and feta.

5. Bake:
Place the pizza on the middle rack and bake for 18–25 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.

6. Finish and serve:
Let it rest for 3–5 minutes before slicing. Top with avo and fresh herbs.
Serve warm with your crispy wings on the side.
