  1. I trained as a chef in the 80s. We used the book, Practical Cookery by Ceserani and Kinton. It had measurements and cooking times, because we were fucking clueless when we started. Our tutors, taught us to determine times, measurements and ingredients, by feeling; looking; tasting (not listening, sorry Marco). Cooking is something which should be from the heart and Marco illustrates this in this series.

  3. Wonderful therapy. Mind you I’m biased i learned to cook at my mother’s elbow aged 5. I can double guess any chef… mostly… that’s why I watch, to be surprised.

  5. I never thought I would like MPW but I've watched a couple, learned a lot and want to get into the kitchen. I can smell it from here as I know the ingredients. The problem for me is I have only my wife to cook for and we can't eat too much as the fridge and freezer are already full of leftovers. Anyone local want some freebees?

  8. …ahem…is it Marco's husky whispers I patiently await or the sea salt melting on my lips and palette, tell me..or I'll have to choose and I may not ensue a completely honest evaluation.. it's like a succulant romance. After all, it IS my choice, about the perfect eating, ❤MARCO.
