  1. Cancelled all subscription and will add back those I crave or want to see at the time they arrive. This year around monthly subscription payments is ridiculous.

  2. I started a bit late (53) mostly because my home was in need of repairs. I’m proud of seeing one year I put $30,000 in my 401(k)

  3. Thank you, Ramit, for everything you do.

May your plate always be filled with amazing food, and may you never have to skip the appetizers you crave. May you sleep in the comfort of fresh sheets each night, and may your haircut always be perfectly on point. May your collection of luxury sweaters grow, and may each one bring you simple joy. And may your shirts always be ironed with no creases.

Most of all, may you continue to enjoy your life to the absolute fullest.

    Cheers!

  4. Started watching you 2 months ago, bought and read both of your books. Completely changed my look on finances. Started paying off my debt more aggressively. Opened a brokerage account and started investing for fun. And increased my 401k % x3. Finally started a budget and got some credit cards to earn me cashback on the stuff I’m already paying for. Learning to live my rich life starting now ❤

  5. Regarding comments: I need to improve roasting; I’m coming for you!lol This is going to be fun. Remember to continue improving using less profanity in videos. I appreciate your hard work in this area. It means a lot.

  6. Ramit, I really like your content and financial insight but you have to stop recommending TDFs without specifying they should not be held in taxable accounts. For example, Vanguard’s TDFs distributed as much as 18% capital gains in one of the past five years, which could cost an investor thousands in unnecessary taxes if held in a non tax-advantaged account, especially if they are in their high earning years in the accumulation phase. Keep up the good work!

  7. Thanks, Ramit, you truly opened my eyes to financial matters. I was planning to buy a new car. After listening to you, I changed my mind and decided to keep my paid-off 2012 Jeep Patriot and focus on maximizing my 457 retirement account. And I'm planning to do more with my partner.

  8. I find it hard to gauge where i am rn. 29 but i have almost 8k in 401k and 5k in a seperate brokerage.

  9. Tysm Ramit. I’m going to keep thanking you that I fixed up my finances after I read your book in my early 30s. I’m glad i have the runway to catch up!

  10. Ramit—I love your emphasis on generosity and connection. It’s so comforting to bless other people with our resources! 🥲❤️
