  1. Salmon not exactly an “Italian” fish that is typical with an Italian family, we’re more about shellfish, pulpo, calamari, lobster, crab, bacala, and other whitefish, but certainly not the disgrazie “Coney Island Whitefish”, which can be seen floating around quite a bit during the summer momths, from Brighton to Seagate.

  2. This is overcooking. The failsafe salmon recipe from my fishmonger:
Place cold water, carrot, chopped onion slices and chopped stick of celery. Season. Add salmon fillets. Bring water to simmer and simmer for ONE minute. Turn off heat and remove from burner. Leave everything to cool naturally. Serve with salad/ lemon/ parsleyed small potatoes. Delicious and delicate. Always honour the fish!❤

  3. Not neccesary to do these just soya sauce with a bit olive oil enough to marinate and put in the oven or pan 15 minutes each side done

  4. Maybe delicious, but absolutely not Italian : butter and cream on salmon which is already oily and can be cooked perfectly without adding anything fat… then fish with mushrooms. and spinach with pepper… definitely not Italian ! Maybe French but it seems pure American

  5. Cut into steaks , season with black pepper and fry skin side down in a little butter and olive oil, wait and check that the skin is crispy flip over and fry for 2- 3 minutes add the zest of a full lemon and all the juice add a tiny pinch of chill powder add some sugar near the end to thicken the lemon juice and to take away tartness and serve with soy sauce noddles or potatoes and broccoli or whatever you like. Simples 👌
