Thank you for the beautiful video 😊
I loved this video. A couple of years ago my son and his girlfriend took me on a 2-wwek trip to Europe for my first time at age 70, and we spent 5 days in a farmhouse (with an olive grove) in Tuscany, buying and preparing local food and touring a Chianti vineyard for a wine tasting. It was an experience I will never, ever forget. (AND-we were travelers on a budget for sure…)
OMG! Eat Pray Love! I love Italy! I went when i was 23. Venice and the Dolimites in northern Italy absolutely gorgeous country with a lot of naughty Italian men…it was the best..have fun!! and the WINE!!!

It’s wine o’ clock 🍷
Incredible video! I didn't want it to end. ♥
Will you give tips on how to visit Italy without looking like a tourist? I’m moving to Spain next year and want to shift my style to assimilate…. Hoping I already do, but not sure
That looks like so much fun to do and so beautifully place as, you looked so lovely in blue and I was die laughing whenever you opened your water bottle🥰🥰🥰🥰
Beautiful! Italy is definitely a bucket list trip for me! Thank you for sharing!
Beautiful ❤
Oh what fun. I picked up a couple of tricks for making pasta.
Florence is one of my favorite places to wander around- loved the graffiti art
The views there are totally stunning
I'm not a wine drinker & have never cared for it, but Italian food…OMG!!!
I absolutely love some authentic Italian food!
Looks like so much fun making your own food at that cooking school
Do you get to choose the actual dish you want to prepare? (just somewhat curious)

Very Very Very Beautiful Thumbnail Picture My Friend 😊❤️❤️❤️😊👍
Christine, this is one of your best videos, I felt as though I was right there as your plus one ❤❤
I've been following you and your Aunt for a long time. Your music selection is AMAZING so I purchased the same supplier. I do everything they say (put license in description) but I keep getting copyright delays. Is there a trick to this? It always seems to delay my posts with new videos and I'm wondering if it's worth it. Any advice would be appreciated.
Please: Mèdici, not Medìci and Mi:chelangelo, not Michaelangelo.
Thank you for sharing, Italy is such a beautiful country. My brother-in-law was from Sicily..
What a lovely way to embrace & celebrate this city – Bravo!
I stayed in Florence in September and was also the only solo person on many of my tours. I toured Italy (and a week in France) for six weeks. They were harvesting the grapes as I did my tastings and visits in Tuscany and I was thrilled to try them off the vine. Didn't you just LOVE the vineyard cats! I'm so glad you had a good experience in this region. It was truly one of my favorites. Florence is magical and too many people rush through it. Did you get up to Michaelangelo's Piazza at the top of the hill to see a sunrise or sunset? Everything is so walkable (and delicious) in Florence. My little apartment was next to a small gelateria and mini grocery. Perfection. Ciao!
Ciao Bella 🥐
Hyped 🍷
If i could go anywhere else….this is where I've always dreamed of going
Thank you for sharing. And sharing so much details… and information.
Gorgeous.
Happy that you got to fill your dreams of Tuscany. ❤
Thanks for visiting. 🥂
You don't have to say that you know nothing, your ignorance about our history and our present is clearly evident.
On your so lucky I would love to go there and have their food and wine and take a pasta making class, that looked like a lot of fun!! That is such a beautiful country! The buildings remind me of my time in Spain. I hope you have a wonderful and safe trip.
Super cool enjoyable video. I admire you for your courage to travel solo.
I’m honestly impressed with your courage. Traveling to other countries solo and doing all the things. Taking a pasta making class and touring a winery. I wish I was confident enough to do all the things you do solo! Thank you for sharing your amazing adventures with us!!
Love this! The smile on your face lights up the screen. 🤩 We took a cooking class when we were in Rome. So much fun! We will definitely be taking more classes when we travel in the future. Florence was a great city for walking – 30 to 40,000 steps every day. LOL!
Really enjoyed this video and wondering where your trip took you next! I know you're planning on doing the PCT, but have you ever considered walking a Camino in Spain? Feels like the mix of walking, discovery, food and wine would suit you.
Thank you for taking us along on your trip 😊
Great job on this video. Beautifully captured the scenery (music was good choice), and cultural experiences. Makes me want to go! The artistry was everywhere like in Paris.
SO FUN…. loved taking a trip in my living room….. THANK YOU !!!
Reminded me of when I was in my 40's I gave cooking lessons FOR FREE… I was shocked how many of my co-workers and friends just COULD not make sense of a kitchen and its tools….so I volunteered.. and soon my friends were making salmon croquettes, fresh pasta, easy alfredo style sauces and so much more…. I think I was rewarded MORE from it than any price could've done….. My first love back when I was 18 to 21 years old was fresh off the boat from Italy, barely spoke english and we met when i visited his family's restaurant near where I was working with my best friend in Santa Barbara Calif… 1976 thru 1979, it was love at first sight and he taught me how to cook Calibria style foods from scratch… but I had already planned to take off with my bestie in 1979 to go camping across the country, we were working to save money and I couldn't stay….. he understood, but back then it was hard to stay in complete contact… i did see him again on two visits back to the area over the years….. then I heard in 1984 that his family had returned to Italy…. no facebook or cell phones, so we lost contact…. but what a lucky experience I had in cooking and traveling, in a little Plymouth Arrow car, with a dog, a 10×10 tent and porta potty…. for 3.5 years we were on the road, living under the stars, camping, foraging, fishing and my bestie came from a family of hunters so she could help with that at times…. though I had a hard time eating my first wild rabbit, I cried and then well…. we were hungry and out in the booneys, so I was grateful…… wouldn't change a thing………… I am now in my late 60's, retired and ready for a new adventure on the road, and stop paying rent… my car died two weeks before I was ready to go so I am trying to save up for another one, but I had to sign a new lease, darn it….gonna be hard to afford a car payment AND rent (sigh)….
wish me luck…………..
Heppy Trails y'all….
Good to see you happy. Eating, drinking and seeing all the awesome scenery 👍🏻❤️
I love Meow Wolf! I did the original one in Santa Fe which was so neat. Then my daughter and I did the Mega Mart one, which was also amazing. I plan to do the one in Denver and the two in Texas at some point, too.
I wonder what the sandwiches were that everyone was eating. When I lived in Germany, they Germans absolutely loved doner (Turkish shaved meat off a giant kabob for those who haven't heard of it). Personally, I didn't care for it.
Florence has been on my bucket list for years. I know exactly what I'd do and where I'd go. What a delight to see a solo traveler enjoy enjoy enjoy.. I went to Paris for the Olympics… on a whim, by myself. It was so good!
Tuscany becomes you darling. What a masterpiece of a video! ❤🎉
I don’t think I’ve ever seen so much happiness in your eyes and on your face as when you walked out of the pasta making class and were describing it. So. Much. Fun!
