The food alone will make one come back to Italy. All the restaurants we ate at, from Lake Como, to Milan, then Rome, had excellent food. Even the food at the little tourist trap restaurant in Pisa offered decent fare. The Italians really do know how to flavor food just right. The food prices were not bad either. Compared to the prices in France, and especially in Switzerland, food prices in Italy are way cheaper. Service we got at the restaurants in Italy were also more satisfactory.
