About Lombardi's – that isn't the original location. They moved to that location decades ago. Also, they no longer use a coal oven. During the pandemic they lost their lease to half of their shop and the half they lost was the side with the coal oven. So their pizza isn't really the same as it was years ago. For some reason they also now only serve small ~12 inch pizzas. They used to be normal size (like 14 or 16 inches).
how fun is this?! i can’t wait to try some of these places next time i’m in nyc. i’m especially interested in fraunces tavern, which apparently is the oldest and most historic tavern in the big apple, but definitely not in the u.s. or the world. europe, for instance, had taverns way before 1762. 😄 love your videos so much! thanks for being you, nate. you bring so many people joy and deserve everything in life.

If you love cheesecake try either Fluffy’s or a place called Ellen’s Stardust diner , they have a AMAZING salted caramel cheesecake! The waiters and waitresses are up and coming broadway performers. CHECK IT OUT. if you are still there . I was there in December 2018 . You should go back to NYC in December sometime. It’s so worth it.
